Helicopters general
I began to fly a helicopter on the flight simulator EasyFly from Ikarus. It went pretty good after a little while.
So I bought my first helicopter a E-sky Honebee CP.

The first hover was inside the house and only tail in. So far so good.
Back and for, left and right, all with the tail in went ok. So I tried my first pirouette. Bad idea. The heli made a horizontal ellipse and I totally disoriented crashed the heli into a chair. This isn't the same thing in real live. After my first replacement parts back into the air. Tail in went just fine but every time I want to turn the heli disaster strikes.

In the mean while I also bought a ARK X-400 brushless tail driven CP which is a bigger helicopter?

I just had to have it.... (stupid!)

What a power from that little brushless motor...
I never tried it further than the backyard.

I also purchased a Graupner MX-12 transmitter to fly and program the heli. I is not easy to start from skratch. There are different things to program or the heli can't fly.
I learned a lot from the internet. Al the information is out there, but not always easy to find. The different forums are a great place to look.
Also myrcguides from Nuttcaze is very good. There are movies in which he explanes al you need to know to get started with flying RC helicopters.

I have collected al the information I needed and put it into a little book: aeroplaza-heli-info.zip
The following chapters can be found:
- Radio setup (in my case the Graupner MX-12);
- Gyro setup;
- ESC setup (electronic speed controler);
- Rotor blades;
- Eliminating vibrations.

In the mean while I decided to sell the ARK X-400. I'm just not ready for it.

After a while I want to proceed with flying helicopters and I saw a little FP heli from Nine Eagles the Solo Pro I (red).

The next helicopter should be a bigger FP (Fixed Pitch) without self stability. But how soon are you ready for a CP (collective pitch) heli?
If I buy a CP heli and I don't use IDLE-UP for stunt flying the heli should react and fly like a FP but a little more sensitive.
Sinds I don't have the resource to buy a lot of different helicopters, I decided to buy a bigger CP heli. The E-sky King V3 and try again

The King is to big for flying in my backyard. And I don't want to go to a open field. I thought what if there is a CP heli that would be the size of the Solo Pro or a MSR. And there is. It is the E-flite Blade mCP-X. This was exactly what I wanted.
