Helicopter aerobatics
Basic flying with a helicopter is very difficult. It requires lots of practice. So before
you start to fly aerobatics be sure you are in control. First try practice the maneuver
on a PC simulator. This way you get familiar how the helicopter handels during the maneuver
and reduces the risk of crashing. The following tricks are some examples what is possible with
a helicopter.
Pirouette
A maneuver in which the helicopter rotates around its yaw axis.

Looping
A loop is an extended elevator flip and work best with a reasonable amount of speed. Loops can be performed forwards,
backwards, sideways, or even pirouetting.

Roll
A maneuver in which the helicopter rotates around its roll axis.

Flips
A Flip is a loop while beeing stationary ad one point. You can make a backflip or a frontflip.

Piro Flips
A Piro Flip is a Flip performed while the helicopter is continuously pirouetting.

Funnel
A Funnel is a maneuver in which the helicopter is oriented tail down and rotate about its rollaxis.
In a true Funnel the tip of the tail remains stationary while the nose decribes a circle.
Tic Tocs
A Tic Toc consists of transitioning quickly between part Flips.
Split-S
A Split-S is a half loop and a half roll. You can choose if you roll first or loop first.
Stall Turn
From forward flight the helicopter's nose is pulled vertical and the collective is reduced to zero degrees.
When the forward speed almost stops use the rudde to bring the nose down and bring the helicopter into level flight.
Tail Slide
A Tail Slide is identical as a Stall Turn except the nose is not brought around and the helicopter
exits the Stall Turn flying backwards.
