Real flight in a Robin R44
I got a realy great birthday present from my familiy. A flying lesson by Helicom B.V. in a real helicopter type Robin R44. The flight was at airport Lelystad the Netherlands by my instructor Syb Bijlsma.


First a brief introduction and basic flying instructions.


The flight start with a pre-flight checklist.


Ready for the take off.

Syb showed me the respons from the different inputs and let me try it myself. This is very difficult.... No way like a RC helicopter. The FBL system are you. The gyro are you to. There is no electronics that helps you with any of this. You must steer against the torque from the engine when you adjust the throttle. And man the steering is very sensitive. No expo or dual rates here.
