Depron Cutter
If you want to reduce the weight of a Depron plane you must use lighter material.
But lighter material than Depron is hard to get. So I build a Depron cutter device.



It cuts the Depron in two slices of 1.6mm and 0.8mm.



The power suply used is 24V= with 5A.



The wire is an resistance wire. To eliminate the slack when the wire gets hot I use a rubber band. It works very easy and good.

   

I use a aluminium 1.5mm piece to control the distance of the wire.
You can also ajust the voltage for different effects.
The planes can only be used for lightweigt equipment which is used in the xxstra.
